One Girl. One Gift. One Prophecy.

A 17-Year Old Girl’s Gift For Reading Peoples’ Hearts Fetches More Than A Black Market Bounty In ‘Return The Heart’ - An Action And Romance-Packed New YA Novel

TULSA, OK (Dec. 13, 2010) -- Seventeen-year-old Lilly Paige is determined to keep her ability to read other people’s secrets under wraps. But when her gift is exposed and then sold on the black market, Lilly and four of her friends (who are also uniquely gifted) wind up in a pan-continental chase to re-gain their freedom. During their pursuit by mercenaries across present-day Washington, D.C, Virginia, St. Petersburg and Moscow, the friends come to find out that Lilly’s gift is more than the target of criminal obsession. It’s linked to an old, Russian prophecy - and as the stakes get higher, the action and adventure intensify.

This is the plot strung through ‘Return The Heart’, the first in a series of three young adult novels by author T.K. Richardson. A blending of three of Richardson’s passions - a love of Russian history and literature, a foundation of biblical studies and a desire to write for young adults – the book is “action packed and laced with romance”, says the author.

Asked for her motivation to put this story onto the page, Richardson said simply, “My children…I wrote the book for them, but I’m pleased to be able to share it with others.”

About The Author

T.K Richardson was born and raised in Coastal and Central California. In addition to her voracious writing pursuits, Richardson is an advocate for neglected and abused children at home and abroad. Along with her husband, she has helped nearly one hundred children in the foster care system, helps to sponsor a Christian based orphanage in India and served as her church’s Director for Children’s Ministry as a way to reach out to families in need. Recently, Richardson also founded a book donation program called “Partners In Print” which is dedicated to providing books to children in foster care.

While she never fancied herself a writer before conceiving of ‘Return The Heart’, Richardson has since completed the second book in the series of Lilly Paige novels and is nearly finished with the third. “To tell the truth, I never wanted to be a writer. It just happened. A character developed first, and the plot, details and other characters followed. I sat down and put pen to paper and when I was done I had a novel.”

‘Return The Heart’ is available on Amazon.com in both Kindle and Paperback formats.
